01 Cookies

At OLA4U we believe it is important that you know which cookies are used on our website and why. Our goal is to properly inform and protect you, and to ensure you have the best possible experience when visiting our site.

Cookies are text files that allow us to make your visit to our website as comfortable as possible. This includes, for example, default settings for the presentation of our website, shopping cart functionality, and the ability to stay logged in, so that you only need to register on our website once. Cookies contain a clear combination of letters/numbers that identifies the browser you are using. These cookies are stored temporarily on your computer and are only transmitted to our server when you visit our website.

We mainly use session cookies, which are not stored on your hard drive and are deleted when the browser is closed or after longer periods of inactivity. Only for items in your shopping cart and the "Remember me" function will a permanent cookie be stored, which will expire within 30 days of your last visit to https://www.ola4u.gr.

Cookies are stored on your computer and can be removed at any time. In every browser, either in "Settings" or in "Privacy and Security", you will find your browsing history where you can also delete it. After deleting cookies, you may need to restore your preferences or log in again. Cookies are completely safe and do not store addresses, emails, or phone numbers.

Additionally, cookies are used to analyse how visitors use our website, how they navigate, or if they encounter any problems so we can fix them. All information collected by these cookies is anonymous and is used only to improve the structure and content of the website.

02 Personal Data Protection

When visiting the pages of https://www.ola4u.gr, you may be asked to provide personal information about yourself (name, surname, company, email address, delivery address, telephone, etc.) primarily to process your orders or to provide our services.

Any personal data you provide anywhere on the pages and services of https://www.ola4u.gr is kept exclusively for purposes relating to your transactions with our company, the improvement of the services provided, and the safeguarding of the relevant service operation. It may not be used by any third party (except where required by law by the competent authorities only).

In all cases, the OLA4U employees who have access to your personal data are specifically designated, and access by unauthorised persons to your personal data is prohibited. Every reasonable measure to secure your data has been taken. Your personal details may, in extremely rare and specific cases, be disclosed to companies collaborating with OLA4U (courier companies), for the purpose of supporting, promoting and executing the transactional relationship with us, but always under conditions that fully ensure that your personal data is not subject to any unlawful processing.

03 When and Why We Collect, Process and Use Your Personal Data

We collect and process your personal data in the following cases:

  • Registration as a member: When you complete an online order by registering as a user/member on https://www.ola4u.gr, in order to benefit from the member rewards programme "Bonus Pontus", and to be able to track your order history and manage your account details.
  • Order as a guest: When you complete an online order without registering but as a guest, so that we can use your details to send the order to the address you have provided. In this case you cannot view your order history, benefit from the "Bonus Pontus" rewards system, or modify your details.
  • Enquiries & product interest: When you express interest in our products or wish to receive more information about existing offers or services by phone or via social media (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Google+).
  • Anonymous order: When you complete an online order anonymously, in which case the order can only be collected from a courier company's store, and we collect only your contact telephone number and email address. In this case you cannot view your order history, benefit from the "Bonus Pontus" rewards system, or modify your details.

You may modify your personal details at any time through your account, or export your orders if you are a registered user/member of https://www.ola4u.gr. You may also request that we delete them from our database by contacting us at 210-6754958 or by sending a deletion request to info@ola4u.gr from the same email address used for registration or order, so that identification can be made and we can proceed to delete all your personal data from our database.

We use your data only in accordance with applicable legal provisions and this privacy policy, as well as with your consent, as applicable.

04 Data Security

The security of your personal data is a high priority for us. We protect the data stored with us through technical and organisational measures to effectively prevent loss or misuse by third parties. Specifically, our employees who process personal data are bound to maintain confidentiality.

To protect your personal data, data is transmitted in encrypted form. We use, for example, TLS (Transport Layer Security) to protect communication via your internet browser. This is recognisable by the padlock displayed by your browser in the case of a TLS connection. To ensure the long-term protection of your data, technical security measures are regularly monitored and, if necessary, adapted to the respective prevailing standards of technology.

Transmission of information and special promotional activities

We use your data to transmit information you have ordered or attempted to order from our product range, and for other promotional activities from OLA4U to the email address provided by you. You can deactivate this email function at any time.

Additionally, we may send you information about our own goods and services to the email address provided by you during a purchase, even without your prior consent on this matter. You can object to receiving these emails at any time.

Certain informational notifications that are necessary for the execution of the order and the operation of the website (e.g. registration confirmation, customer service information, order confirmation, order-related documents, payment processing) cannot be deactivated. These notifications will be sent to the contact details provided by you.

When you visit the pages of https://www.ola4u.gr, the following data is stored for technical reasons in so-called log files:

  • The IP address (Internet Protocol address) of the accessing computer

  • The date and duration of the visit
  • The type of browser and browser settings
  • The operating system

06 Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the legal right to access the personal data stored with us, and to request its correction or deletion. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you also have the right to data portability and the right to object to its processing.

The fastest, simplest, and most convenient way to exercise these rights is to log into your customer account (if you have registered on our website) and edit the data stored there, or to delete your customer account by contacting us:

  • By phone: 210-6754958
  • By email: info@ola4u.gr (from the email address you used to create your account or place orders, for identification purposes)

If you do not have a personal account on our website but placed an order as a guest or anonymously, you can delete your personal data and order history by contacting us in the same way, so that identification can be carried out securely.

Data that we must store due to legal, institutional, or contractual obligations for the retention of commercial documents will be locked rather than deleted, to prevent its use for other purposes.
